Letters from ICER Site Chair in Support of Visa Applications
If you need a visa to enter the US, the consulate concerned may request a “letter of invitation” as part of the visa application procedure.
Invitation letters to obtain a visa will not be provided prior to the paper acceptance notification date in May.
We cannot provide such a letter unless you fulfill all of the following requirements:
- You require a visa to enter the US (check the Travel without a visa page)
- You are an author of an accepted ICER 2023 paper or poster, or a member of the ICER 2023 organizing or program committee
- You are registered (and have paid) for in-person participation at ICER 2023 via Cvent
- You provide your name and mailing address as it appears on your passport, your ICER 2023 registration confirmation number, the title of your accepted paper or poster, and an email address to which the invitation letter should be sent, in an email to site-chairs@icer.acm.org

ICER 2023 is a hybrid conference, which means you can register for virtual participation.
